We have done some renovating to our weekly travel radio show - the name has been altered to Travel Radio Australia (having dropped the 'ATW' from before the title).
When the show first went to air some 12 years ago it carried the same title as its US-based sister program 'Around the World' which goes to air in Santa Barbara (CA) several times a week.
More recently, with many of the listeners now online (although it still goes to air on community radio stations throughout Australia each week) we opted to alter the name to ATW Travelradio Australia to better reflect our Australian roots of the show, even though we still carry content from our 'mates' in the 'states'.
This latest name/logo change is the third and final stage of the show's transformation.
As our web address has been travelradioaustralia.com for several years now, it made sense to adopt that same name for the show, making it very easy to find in Google searches and easier to remember as well. Just type in 'travel radio' and we're there right near the top.
Despite the name and logo change, we still feature the same team and content every week...there's absolutely no reason to alter a successful format.
