Big wet stops Birdsville Races (but the fun goes on)
On this week's radio show Emily Eklund joins an aerial tour from Brisbane to Lake Eyre and Birdsville (on annual race day, which was cancelled due to flooding of the Birdsville race track). Onboard the Dash 8 aircraft she interviews tour operator Graham Reid and then one of the Birdsville Races revellers, Leanne. John Crook meets Rodney Twist at Glenelg (Adelaide) and discusses transport options for visitors in the South Australian capital. Frances Beasley delights us with some camembert cheese. The US team, Arthur von Wiesenberger and Martha Bull chat with British journalist Patrick Weaven about the Loire Valley (France). Listen to podcast
