VIDEO; Venice, Italy

I filmed this video on my most recent trip to one of my favourite cities, Venice. It explores the colour and spectacle of this canal-ridden haven which is slowly sinking into the massive lagoon. Most of the scenes are shot whilst wandering around town, on oboard one of the canal ferries but it also includes a demo of the traditional craft of glassblowing on Murano island. There is also a visit to Lido, where all good Venetians (and many visitors) enjoy their beach breaks. Click on the play arrow and 'enjoy your trip'!

VIDEO: Viva Las Vegas

In September we spent six days and nights enjoying the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip. This video shows some of the highlights of our trip into the 'gambling capital of the western world.

Last year we holidayed in Macau (southern China) and it was interesting comparing the two gambling cultures on opposite sides of the world.

If I had to decide between the two, Macau would probably get my vote as the better of the two places for a casino-related holiday. It's got all the colour and excitement of Vegas inside the massive casino hotels but outside these 'edifices' Macau maintains an old world charm with its mixture of Chinese/Portugese heritage.

However, there's no denying Vegas is a fascinating place - and this video hopefully brings home some of its unique atmospher and colour.

Explore the Belgian city of Antwerp on the same day its annual marathon race is run through city streets. This video was filmed on a brief visit to Holland and Belgium in 2006.

VIDEO: Wonderful Copenhagen - Danish delight!

The Danish capital, Copenhagen is a fascinating city on the east coast of the tiny country, which boasts a strong Australian connection through Princess Mary, who hails from the apple isle of Tasmania. Siince becoming the crown princess, Mary has been warmly accepted by the Danes and features on just about every postcard you'll buy in shops throughout Denmark. In this video we explore Copenhagen and some of its attractions by open-top cruise boat and on foot.

VIDEO: Exploring the Albanian capital, Tirana

This is by far the most watched video I have ever posted on YouTube, boasting thousands of viewings, downloads and many comments. It features both a drive and walk through the Albanian capital city of Tirana with its huge wide inner city avenues, bustling traffic scenes and imposing buildings constructed during the previous Communist regime. Tirana is now accessible by direct flights from many European destinations and has a brand new and efficiently run airport terminal, so the future of tourism is looking a lot brighter for Albania, a country that was previously fairly unknown to the rest of Europe.

VIDEO: Shenzhen - China's shopping haven

We joined a Gray Line shopping day tour at our hotel in Hong Kong to the industrial city of Shenzhen located on the southern China coast one hour's travel by ferry, train or car from Hong Kong. The tour stops at several minor attractions before finishing at the mighty Wo Lu shopping centre for a three hour spending spree at the thousands of small shops selling rip offs, ranging from second-rate to first class copies of all designer labels.

VIDEO: Kowloon, Hong Kong

The video starts with some views inside and from our hotel at BP International House, situated right next to beautiful Kowloon Park. We then venture oputside for a morning walk through the park.
