Enjoy a 'dream' sea voyage
SeaDream Yacht Club will make one of its most unusual voyages ever this year, with mega motor-cruiser SeaDream I sailing 7-nights return from Istanbul to five of Bulgaria, Romania and the Ukraine’s most historic ports. And it will be possible to add a 7-night sailing from Istanbul through the Greek Islands either pre or post this unique Black Sea adventure, a 14-night combination that SeaDream Yacht Club believes will prove very attractive to Australians, who already do more 2-week sailings than any other guests. SeaDream I, that carries just 110 guests served by 95 officers and crew, will depart Istanbul on August 23 for Nessebar, a medieval UNESCO World Heritage Site in Bulgaria, followed by Constanta in Romania where they’ve been making wines since the 4th century. She will then sail on to the Ukraine, visiting Odessa founded by Catherine the Great in 1783 and home to Count Leo Tolstoy’s elaborate mansion, medieval Sevastopol where Tolstoy began his career and often referred to as “The Gem of the Crimean Riviera,” and Yalta, the Russian Czars summer retreat and site of the historic meeting of Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin in 1945. Price starts from US$5868pp twin-share including all 5-star onboard dining, drinks from the bars and wines with lunch and dinner, nightly cocktail hours, all sail and power watersports, a golf simulator, gratuities and port charges. Make it a 14-night odyssey from US$11,272pp twin-share by adding a 7-night sailing to the Greek Islands pre- or post-Black Sea; air is additional.
